2026 is the yang Fire Horse year (aka Crimson Horse), but it should be remembered that the start of the yang Fire Horse year does not coincide with the beginning of the western year (January 1st). The astrological year of the yang Fire Horse starts on February 4th 2026, and will end on February 3rd 2027.

However, this only relates to your year of birth and does not take into account the month, day, and time. Furthermore, this method is old and very general. In Chinese Astrology, we use another reference element: the Day Master. Therefore, you must first know what your Day Master is.
How is the Day Master calculated?
It is very simple: go to Ba Zi Calculator and enter your date and time of birth, then press the ‘Calculate’ button, and below you can see your birth chart, which consists of four pillars that read from right to left: year pillar, month pillar, day pillar, and hour pillar.
While the birth chart represents your life plan, the Day Master represents you yourself within your life, which is why it is so important. You can see your Day Master here, in the third position at the top from the right. There are a total of 10 possible Day Masters, related to the 5 eastern energies (that are Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal), in their yin or yang version. Each of these 10 possible Day Masters has specific features, which we are not interested in now because we focus on the influence brought by the Fire Horse.
Now you know your Day Master, and we can proceed by analysing what the yang Fire Horse year has in store for you. In any case, remember that, depending on your birth chart, there may be other energy structure at work (like the 10-years luck pillar), so what we will say applies if these energies do not counteract the yang Fire Horse.
Karma in 2026
Before we begin, one more point. In the Horse year, certain types of negative Karma can be activated.
